Legal Question in Family Law in California

Marital Laws

Why do marital laws exist if they are not enforceable unless you get a divorce?

How do you 'force' a spouse to file the joint taxes, give equal access to financial information or 'force' him to give you money for food and shelter?

Is divorce how you enforce marital laws?

Actually, there are other ways to enforce the laws. You should consult with any attorney in your area to be advised of your rights.
