parental responsibility regarding minor 's auto insurance

Am I responsible for providing my 17 year old with auto insurance? the car is registered in her name only. If she were to get into an auto accident without insurance could I be sued? If I am responsible, does this responsibility end with her 18th birthday or end of High school (high school grad is after her 18th birthday)

The parent or parents that signed for her to get a driver's license are financially responsible for her. Therefore you should either provide adequate insurance or revoke her driver's license and not allow her to drive.
