Legal Question in Family Law in California

Currently paying child support without an order and have been since birth of child. Mother has now filed a restraining order and going for full custody and trying to prevent father from rights of visitation and custody. Should I stop all payments to mother until we go to mediation and court or will this hurt my case for filing for full custody?

It won't have much impact on the case, but it won't do any good either. Once she files, court ordered support will go back to the date of filing anyway. Best to calculate an estimate of what will be ordered, and adjust the amount you pay if needed, but continue paying.
