Power of Attorney

Hi,

My father is now a senior and a US naturalized citizen and interested in giving me a power of attorney.

I would like to assist him in all his general request from assisting him in his medical, dental inquiries, helping him bring his passport up-to-date, booking his flight, taking care of his rental payment, etc.

If I get a power of attorney form and have it signed by him, myself and public notary, would that be enough to make it official?

If not, could you simplify what I need to do the less expensive way?

Generally, a power of attorney and proper signing and notarization would allow you to conduct these transactions on behalf of your father. However, there are different types of Power of Attorneys including durable power of attorneys. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact my office.
