I received a Notice of Paternity from a girl who has decided to place the baby up for adoption, how can I prove if I am the father and the baby is not born yet?

Your case requires urgent care. You should quickly come forward and join the case in court or file paperwork to get into court so that you can get a dna test and inform the court that you want to be a parent. If the child is placed for adoption you will have little recourse. If you suspect you may be the father and you want to have parental rights then you should file paperwork immediately before you lose that right to an adoption. Once it goes through then your parental rights will be terminated.

For self represented individuals you can consult with the family law facilitator self help center at your local court house.

As always please consult a local attorney prior to taking legal action. Good luck. Also please check out my Santa Clara County Family Lawyer blog.
