Legal Question in Family Law in California

I received a Summons FL-110 no other forms. Live in CA no kids married in 2001 &kicked; him out 8 months later. Live check to check and want a divorce. He harasses by text . He threatens alimony but I am a part timecaregiver. What should I do to protect myself and have this over with in 6 months. I do not trust him because he is a con man. He has beensaying he was filing for over the last 12 years. Thank you for your time.
