Legal Question in Family Law in California

Reduction of Spousal Support

How do I go about getting a reduction of spousal support I pay to my ex after a ''long term'' marriage. Divorced for two years now and she has her own company and is gainfully employed. I supported her through her college education as the sole income provider for the household. There are no children from the marriage

Re: Reduction of Spousal Support

You need to file a motion to modify the spousal support. There are many factors used to set spousal support and what you have stated is included in those factors. You can, of course, do this yourself, however, since you are probably talking about thousands of dollars in change to you it is well worth your time and money to retain an attorney.
