Legal Question in Family Law in California

what is my rights regarding child custody

I am allready divorced and our child custody doesnot stat that I am unable to take the children out of the state for vacations. My Ex spouse is giving me greef stating that I do not have the right to take the childern out of the state for any reason with out his OK. What are my legal rights regarding this? Do I need the courts ok to go on a vacation thats outside of CA?

If the Court has ordered that you cannot take the children out of the State, than you cannot take the children out of the State. If you want to be able to take the children out of State on vacation then you will need to do a motion to modify existing custody orders.
