Legal Question in Family Law in California

my ex took my son out of the country we have no custody arrangements my name is on his birth certificate and i did not sign nor gave permission for a passport, i gave him his monthly check for 7 years until she took him out of the country. he is in germany thats all i know, she is in the military is this legal and what do i do about his monthly check? can she put me in child support? can she get sole custody without me knowing? he has been gone for almost 6 months i tried to contact her throught myspace but she didn't tell me anything but "he is fine", and know just ignores my messages.

If there is no court order regarding custody, then mother did not violate any laws. If there is a court order to pay child support, then you must obey the court order. If you want to see your son, get a lawyer and file papers for visitation.
