my son and his girlfriend are having a baby and want me (grandmother) to adopt it. What do I do now?

Many things to do in an at birth adoption.

A lot more may have to be done if you live in a different state.

Highly suggested that you retain legal counsel who has done a significant amount of at-birth independent adoptions.
