Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have a son that is physically abusing his wife and child. She does not want any charges pressed against him. I want to know what my legal rights to protect my grandson?

Unfortunately, your rights are no different from any unrelated citizen who has knowledge of criminal conduct going on behind closed doors. You need to report to the police and social services and then balance between keeping them focused and informed, versus being a "crackpot," in trying to get them to act on the information you provide.
