Is spouse A liable for Credit Card debt charged by Spouse B if Spouse A was never on the application for the card?

You may not be personally liable for your spouse's debt, but community property of a marriage is liable for the debts of either spouse incurred during the marriage.

Mr. White is wrong. Debt incurred during the marriage is community debt. There are circumstances under which the debt may not be divided equally due to malfeasance by the spouse incurring the debt, but as between the creditor and the spouses, they are both liable.
