Legal Question in Family Law in California

Subject to mediation, I have a pending court case on medical arrears and

child support on or at the time when my ex filed the petition..

I am divorce and a non costudial parent with pending child custody case in the court. My child had a surgery, costs were incurred, and my ex is asking the judge for reimbursement. My child had insurance and much of the cost was covered. By my ex husband continued to insist he spent so and so by producing an "unpaid" invoice he sent to me with no receipts. What is the Family Law code in California for arrears on medical cost and child support issues so I can do more readings about this.

Check out family code section 4063. Basically, if you do not have an order to divide unpaid medical expenses, the parents would have to share 50-50. This is extra to the regular child support. This cost must be reasonable and necessary. It must be presented to you by evidence such as a receipt within 30 days of its accruement.
