Legal Question in Family Law in California

Hi! I just wanted to know how to file for myself an order to show cause for spousal support. Any help or advice on how to fill out the form or where do I send it is greatly appreciated.

If you are going to be filing a motion self represented, you should consult with the local family law facilitator in your courthouse to get advice on the proper forms and protocols you need to file law and motion paperwork. Another good resource is the local law library for self help information. If you are in California, the information on the Santa Clara County Superior Courts website is helpful for those representing themselves in Family Law matters.

Here is their link:

For self represented individuals you can consult with the family law facilitator self help center at your local court house.

As always please consult a local attorney prior to taking legal action. Good luck. Also please check out my Santa Clara County Family Lawyer blog.
