Legal Question in Family Law in California
My wife and I have filled out all necessary divorce papers, figured out a custody agreement and everything. We literally are at the last step where all she has to do is mail in her signed portion with two copies and two stamped envelopes. Now, she is refusing to send in the papers to make the divorce go through. What are my options as to making her get this done. This has been going on now for 2 years. She will not let me see my daughter, she will not give me her address. Would I need to re-file for a divorce again?

File an at issue to set the matter for trial and an ex parte to have contact with your daughter. I urge you to consult with an experienced family law attorney to protect you and your daughter's legal rights.
In essence, you need to file a Response to the divorce and a motion to the court for visitation with your daughter. Take the control away from your ex by doing things yourself. Good luck!
