Medical insurance will terminate when a divorce decree is entered, unless the parties agree to be legally married still in status only. If that is the case then the medical insurance could stay. The downside to that is that you both will be unable to get remarried until your status is terminated. Many couples do stay together in status only so that they can keep each other on medical insurance policies.
