Legal Question in Family Law in California
please help nobody else will...i was arrested for domestic violence.however all charges were dropped but we have a child together so cps has got involved and is making r lives hell.they have basically threatened my girlfriend with statements saying "no questions asked we will take ur daughter if u talk or see me in any way" they have made her file restraining with the same threats of taking r daughter if she didnt..my girlfriend wants nothing more then to just be together again as a family. can they do this to us?

All beaten girlfriends want to reconcile and want the charge dropped; that means nothing. No one can force your girlfriend to file a restraining order, that did not happen. She has to swear everything in it is true under penalty of perjury.
Are you saying she committed perjury in it, and what she wrote is lies?
Are you saying it is true, but you did not want her to tell?
Have a lawyer petition the court for a finding of factual innocence.
