California Family Medical Leave Act
Does the required 1250 hrs for eligibility, have to be calculated After the 12 month Date Of Hire? Or can the 1250 required hrs, be within the first year of hire as long as the employee has worked 1250 hrs in the preceeding 12 months of the requested start date for FMLA ?

There is no confusion - 1250 hours in the 12 months prior to making claim for leave. You either have it or not.
