family medical leave act Eligibility

I currently have an employee whos daughter was rapped she is requesting some time off to deal with the situation. My question is does she fall under the family medical leave act law?, Which would cover her time off from work.

Probably, if the rape is considered a serious medical condition. I suggest to you that the employee would get a lot of sympathy from anyone hearing that story, like the enforcement agencies if she complained about denial of leave.
