Legal Question in Medical Leave in California
Family Medical Leave Act
My has strict attendance requirements and much of my life is taken up by it. I am placed in stressful situations for inadequate pay. I have PKU which is a genetic disoreder where my liver is not able to metabolize protein. I have to be on a special diet. I have to be especially strict about 6 months before and during any preganacy I may have for the baby's health. My husband and I would like to have a baby, but because of the strict requirements of my job, I can't get adequate time off to visit my doctor and prepare properly so that we can do this. I was wondering if this would apply to the Family Medical Leave Act or if their is any other way I could be helped.
Thank you.

You have certain rights under FMLA, ADA and pregnancy discrimination laws. Together, they may be enough to accomplish what you want. Contact if interested in getting representation in this matter.
