Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Acknowledgment of full satisfaction of judgment

It has been recorded 25 days ago.

I did not receive a serviced copy of ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF FULL SATISFACTION OF JUDGMENT.

Can I get a copy from the court myself?

Also, can I file with the County to clear liens on my property?

Or does the Judgment Creditor have to do it?

Thank you.

Re: Acknowledgment of full satisfaction of judgment

Anything contained in a court file, unless it was accepted under seal, may be copied by anyone.

You can therefore obtain a copy of the Acknowledgment from the court file. If there was an Abstract of Judgment recorded, you should get a CERTIFIED copy of the Acknowledgment from the court and record that.
