Need assistance filing suit
I need to file suit for breach of a 10K loan contract. I have all the necessary evidence to easily prevail-and there is a strong possibility that a default judgment will result as the defendant can not even afford to answer the suit. As a result, it may be a long time before I can enforce the judgment- I would like to retain an attorney who can file suit and obtain the default for a fixed economical fee and is ammenable to negotiating a separate fee for the remainder of the suit if an answer is filed. I'm a former paralegal and would be willing do whatever required to defray costs.

I am an attorney/litigator, and have been for 41 years. I would be willing to prepare a complaint, for you in pro. per., based upon your allegations for a retainer of $750, plus $250 of advanced costs. If the complaint is answered, I would become of record, and would reprsent you for an additional retainer of $6,750.00, to be the entire fee, unless the legal services required more than 20 hours of time, in which case, I would bill at the rate of $350.00 per hour to a maximum of an additional $7,500.00. I don't feel it appropriate to post fees, but would suggest that you contact me directly to discuss what you think is fair. If you can do some of the paperwork, my charges would be quite reasonable.
