Child Discriminated by School

Our son, was not picked for a yearbook committe based on the fact that he was not ''diversifed'' enough. He is a straight A student,athletic(2 sports)and comes from a good family..but we are white and they said they were given instructions to pick a diversifed group. This was a direct quote from 2 teachers when questioned.

You might make an appointment with principal to discuss your concerns. My parents did that years ago when my elementary teacher insisted on setting field trips on religious holidays which I then observed. The principal saw to it that changes were made. Good luck!
