Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
Judgement
I won a judgement 11/96 on a substancial sum of money. Collecting it has been another matter CEO of company is not clearing what she owes.
I did some research and found that she has made large contributions to a political campaign over the past year, moved to new offices, and has an active web-site advertising her product.
Do I have any recoarse and how would I proceed legally.
Thanks!

Based upon the facts in your question, she must be donating to the democratic party.
Re: Judgement
The first and most important thing is that judgments only last for 10 years, so yours is on the verge of expiring. You can renew the judgment for another 10 years, but you need to file the proper papers with the court. Get help immediately. As for collecting, it sounds like you may have some possibilities of getting money from the judgment debtor, from what you wrote. I specialize in this kind of work; feel free to contact me if you want to discuss this further.
Re: Judgement
Be sure that it hasnt been over 10 years because you wont be able to receive money after that. This could be a very complex case without a lawyer. We handle this kind of law. Contact us today. 760.243.5121.

Re: Judgement
Your recourse is to collect the judgment. You do that by locating and levying on assets, such as bank accounts, property, etc. in the name of the defendant. If you can't do it yourself, hire an attorney to do so. Feel free to contact me if interested in doing it right.
Re: Judgement
First, you should have the judgment renewed. Then a Judgment Debtor Exam should be taken of the Defendant to learn the source of his contributions and to find assets which you could attach or garnish.
Re: Judgement
Forget authorization, go in and take their assets, clear out their bank accounts, put a Sheriff in their office to take all payments.
