Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I would like to know if it is legal to add charges that are not on the orginal arrest document.

When you send a criminal law question to civil litigation attorneys you are not going to get an answer, or you will get nothing more than an educated guess.

Of course. The prosecutors can amend at any time they believe they can prove additional or different charges.

Do you really think the court and prosecutor's office, charged with enforcing and upholding the 'law', are likely to do something 'illegal'?
