Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
Legal power of LP when its GP is forfeited
does LP still have a legal power to defend a suit or litigate when its GP (corporation) is forfeited for not complying with a state law?

It has no choice but to defend, either by first getting into compliance, or just hiring counsel and worrying about objections and compliance as it comes up. The alternative is sitting back and allowing default judgment. If serious about getting legal help, feel free to contact me.

I am sorry but this would be a fact specific question. Are you the Limited Partner? Are you sued individually? Contact me directly.
