Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
When a Loan Modification request, submitted by your office, has been rejected due to the bank claiming they did not receive the docs they requested (which we sent twice to your office), what legal recourse do we have against the bank (IndyMac?)

None. You also need a dose of reality, and understand that loan mods are successfully obtained in only a tiny % of cases.

Send another set, certified return receipt. Although Mr. Nelson might be correct, I've seen loan modifications approved, so don't be discouraged. Keep trying.

IndyMac is in Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Many of their assets were purchased by OneWest Bank. Maybe that is the source of some of your problems.
