Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Minor boyfriend of my minor daughter has been instrumental in helping her to "run away" a number of times, resulting in an "uncontrollable minor" citation (W&I 601(a)) being issued against her. She has indicated that she "loves him" despite the fact that he date raped her several months ago.

Can we (her parents) obtain a restraining order against this young man, based upon the police reports of her "runs" and her allegations of date rape, even if she may not desire such an order because she still desires to see him? If so, is this a Domestic Violence order request or a Civil Harassment order request? Thanks for your help!

Parents can file criminal charges against anyone damaging their children. They can also file for appropriate restraining orders -- request both types, you have nothing to lose. .
