Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
I have been named as a co-defendent in a civil lawsuit alleged by a former employee. She has named Wells Fargo and myself as defendents in a sexual harrassment lawsuit. Her claims are obsurd and unfounded and I need legal representation to help me to fight this lawsuit. I am currently unemployed and unable to afford legal representation. I am looking for a free or low cost option to help me in this matter. I reside in Los Angeles, CA.

Where you employed by Wells Fargo at the time? If so you may be able to demand that Wells Fargo provide you an attorney and a defense.
You should retain an attorney who can make a demand from your employer to provide you with a defense. If you have any questions feel free to call

I agree with the previous two attorneys. Even though you may no longer be employed, your employer may have insurance or some other defense for your behalf that covers matters that arose while you worked there. I suggest you find out if your former employer can defend you first.
If your employer refuses to defend you and provide you an attorney in this after you demand they do, then you will have to hire your own attorney. IF you have evidence and defenses, the attorney will use them to try to defeat the case. If serious about hiring counsel to help in this, and if this is in SoCal courts, feel free to contact me. Ill be happy to help fight and get the best outcome possible, using whatever defenses and sympathies there may be.
