Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I noticed my information in websites I have never subscribed to, they even have my personal phone number and address listed for everyone to see. Can I sue them?

No you can't sue them, and you wouldn't be able to find them anyway. View the YouTube video, "Privacy Is Dead, Get Over It." The entire video is an hour or two but it's worth it.

Some of those websites have a way to remove your information. Click on the "privacy" link, if there is one, and there might be instructions on how to do so. I was able to do it on at least one website. In addition, you'd be surprised that many websites repost our LawGuru comments as original material, although they have no relationship with LawGuru.
