Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Photo of Horse and Rider

I ran a ad in a magazine using a photo with the permission of the photographer. I have now received a letter from an attorney representing the owner of the horse directing me to contact her directly to work out an amiacable solution or else he will advise her of her rights. I don't know this woman or her contact info, so I have to call the attorney. What should I do?

See my prior answer. If the photo is of her, I guess it may be her horse, but why is she not complaining that you used her picture in the ad, just as to the horse.
