Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I have a question about a judgement that I received in Pomona Superior Court against ''defendent'', a California Corporation. I am the sole-propriter of a small business.

I sued the ''defendent'' in Small Claims Court and a judgement in my favor was ordered on 2/26/01 in the amount of $5100 ($5000 plus costs of $100). At the bottom of the notice of entry of judgement there is a line which states: ''Enforcement of the judgement is automatically postponed for 30 days or, if an appeal is filed, until the appeal is decided.''

The ''defendent'' appealed and a judgement was again ordered in my favor on 6/26/01 after the trial de novo on appeal from the small claims court in the amount of $850.

My Question: Am I entitled to collect both judgements? On the second judgement the award is actually $750 plus costs of$100. As part of my submissions to the court I asked for the original judgement of $5100 plus $750 in costs which I incurred in attorney's fees. It doesn't really make sense to me that he would award me the judgement only in the amount of the legal fees.

Thank you for any assistance that you can give me.

you can only collect the $850. Pomona has long been known as the dumping ground for bad judges. most are pretty stupid and there are several that are actually crooked. you never know what will happen there.
