Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
seller responsibility
I sold a motorcycle below market value because it had engine problems, the buyer bought the bike knowing this, we thought the fix would be cheap and minor but is more expensive then hoped. now they say I misrepresented the motorcycle and should be liable for some of the repair costs even though they bought it as is in non working order, what are my rights with this case thanks

Re: seller responsibility
If your bill of sale says 'as is', then remind them you are not responsible. If it doesn't, you folks have a dispute over who promised what, that could end up in small claims court. I'd take my chances with that if I were you, unless you really did defraud them by withholding info you knew.
