Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I sold a horse 7 days ago. New owner had a veterinarian check before horse left property. New owner emailed 5 days after taking possession of horse saying horse is dangerous and wants her money back. New owner also mentioned she had blood work done to see if the horse was drugged. Should I respond to this in any way? What rights do I have?

If you have an effective written contract covering all the issues, you could refer to it. If not, then "anybody can sue anybody for anything", even though winning is a different question. You can either resolve this informally somehow the way YOU want, or wait to see if you are sued, then defend the suit based upon whatever is alleged as the 'facts' that they rely on in the suit.
