Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
Can someone sue a disabled person on SSI?
I am a disabled individual on SSI. I want to find out if someone can sue me for attorney fees. And if the answer is yes, can a judgment be attached to my SSI monthly check?

Of course you can be sued. Anybody can sue anybody for anything. Winning is entirely different. So is collecting. If they attach your benefits, you have 'exemptions' to claim.

You didn't pay your lawyer? Shame on you. But your SSI is exempt from a judgment.
