I am being sued civily after an accident while I was in a company car. The company I work for handled everything. Now I got personaly served papers, does the company handle it or do I need a lawyer?

Yes, make sure the companie's insurance company's lawyer handles for you.
Your employer's insurance (which describes the company car) is primary, and the lawsuit should be referred to the insurance company for assignment to one of their attorneys.
The company obviously didn't "handle" it. Turn this over immediately to them and their insurance company to represent you. Put that demand in a letter to them, so you have proof you did. If they refuse, you'll have to hire your own attorney to defend this. If so, contact me. You should also contact the plaintiff's lawyer and advise you have done so.
