threats

if someone is making threats againts myself and my family over the internet and as dumb as it sounds put sticker on a dvd of mine. do i have any leagl grounds to punish him for the threats and damaging my dvd?

You'll get your answer from the police when you try to file charges against the person and explain all the facts to the police.
