Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Will not Remove Classified Ad

I placed a classified ad on an internet usnet board (where anyone can post anything related to a particular subject) about a year ago. The item was sold right after I placed the ad. I continue to get people calling and emailing about the ad. I asked the usnet board ower to please remove it but she said ''I want a complete record of everything that was posted. I will not remove it.'' Do I have any legal rights here? What should I tell this person?

Re: Will not Remove Classified Ad

Get call blocking and/or place a follow-up message on the board (referring to the earlier one) saying that the item was sold. That way, if someone's searching for the item, they'll reach that post first, and know the other one is out-of-date.
