Legal Question in Health Care Law in California
Law against Doctors using Nutritional Healing?
I am curious if anybody knows of a law which exists that states: Doctors will be suspended if they practice Nutritional Healing, instead of subscribing drugs?

Re: Law against Doctors using Nutritional Healing?
Certainly not. Doctors are required to practice within the standards of practice generally accepted in the community. If they don't and they cause harm they can be liable for damages in a medical malpractice action. If a doctor is a quack, the Board of Medical Examiners will investigate him if a consumer makes a formal complaint and there may be reprecussions regarding his license in the State. Otherwise, that is it.
