Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

i am an american citizen living in the uae, my husband applied for immigrant visa and we were granted it, but it expires in december. due to our jobs here we cannot go and reside in the states for the time being, but we will travel to the states soon to complete his green card process.

first question

can he go alone to the states, or must i accompany him?

second

if we do not go to the states before december (we are plannig to go next year) does he have to renew his immigrant visa , if yes, how long does it take to renew

third question

if we do go , for only 10 days or so , will we have to fill out taxes even tho we are living abroad? or do we start paying when we actually reside there permanently?

thanks so much in advanced

He has to go to USA before his immigrant visa expires. He has to establish residency in USA and will have to pay taxes as a US resident.

If he fails to go before expiraton of the visa, you will have to restart immigration process and file a new petition on his behalf.
