Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Hi Attorney,

My green card was issued on 08/15/2008. I am going to loose my job by the end of June 2010 and plan to apply for unemployment insurance from state of California. My wife went to India for a vacation, she was not issued green card and she is still in EAD. Will my unemployment claim become an issue for her to return to USA at port of entry? please advise me. Earliest response is appreciated.

Thanks,

Srikanth

Why your wife didn't obtain a 'green card' if you were married at the time when you became a permanent resident in Aug 2008 (and assuming that she was included as your dependent)? Does she have an advance parole? How long was her vacation abroad? Do you have an attorney assisting you with her application for adjustment of status/'green card'?
