Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

B2 extension denied - What is a reasonable time frame to depart US?

If a request for B2 / visitor visa extension were to be rejected --

What is a reasonable time frame that I can continue to stay in the US? (

I need to take care/confirm airline tickets , cancel travel plans within US etc. )

So...is there a guideline that is used as ''grace'' period ?

Are there effects on my next trip's visa if I continue to stay short term (1month)?

Thanks for any input.

There's no grace period with a mere tourist visa. You better leave immediately. If you overstay, next time you apply for admission at the port of entry and they find out, they'll probably deny you entry.
