Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

I was brought to the US illegally when I was 3 months, now I am college student paying cash for my tuition. I am a computer science student, hoping to graduate with in 3 years. However when I do graduate I will be unable to work. I have heard that a company can some way help grant me residency. If so what are the requirements and such.

If you came to USA illegally and no one ever had petitioned for you or your parents in the past, unfortunately, it won't be possible for a company/employer to help you to obtain residency.

Dear Inquirer:

Since you enetred without inspection, you would be ineligible for "adjustment of status" to green card in the US. Alternatively, the process is to seek an immigrant visa outside of the US, however, if you have been unlawfylly present for more than one year after reaching age 18, you would barred from readmission to the US for a period of 10 years, unless such bar is waived based on hardship to your US Citizen or lawful permanet resident spouse or parents at the time of such an application. Of course, the Immigration Law may be totally overhauled in the next two years, so I recommend that you complete your studies and we can reassess the situation as you approach graduation.

Though unlikely, you might be a U.S. citizen at birth abroad. Also, depending on your age, if under 18, you haven't incurred unlawful presence to bar your admissibility for three or ten years. Consider going to school outside the U.S. and returning when you have a job offer. There are possibly other suggestions available.
