Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
My dad came to the US as tourist. I am a US citizen. He applied for adjustment of status is recently granted a green card but found out his birth date on it to be wrong. He is going back to his home country next month for a few months. Can he still use his passport from his home country as opposed to US re-entry permit? Will it be a problem if they see the birth date on his green card and homeland passport different? Please help. Thanks.

He should apply for a replacement of his green card. Wrong date of birth could be a big issue if it's not corrected. The USCIS form to be used in I-90.
To reenter the USA he will need to use a green card in addition to his passport.
