Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
I and my family had E2 Visa and applied for Greencard in Sept. 2010. While I was waiting for Greencard I turned 21, and my E2 visa expired. Before I was 21, I was able to get E2 visa because of my dad, but now they considered me as independent and I'm not able to renew it. So, I have no visa right now. I'm just waiting to get a greencard.
I got work permit 2 month later I applied for Greencard (so that was about a year ago) Recently my work permit expired and I'm still waiting for Greencard.
Can I renew my work permit while I'm waiting to get Greencard???
If I can, how do I do it? Do I need to submit the application through a lawyer?
Thanks!

Do you have a lawyer? How did you apply for a green card?
