Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

green card sponsorship

I am looking for information about green card sponsorship. I have a Masters degree in computer science and currently working in US as a intern(with J1 visa) in web development company. My company ready to hire me and give any kind of sponsorships. Now my question is : Can my company apply for green card sponsorship for me? If so how?

The company can apply for permanent residence ("green card") on your behalf. Make sure your J-1 visa does not have the 2-year residency requirement abroad.

Your company can sponsor you for labor certification and then the for permanent residency. If you have 2 years residency requirement in your J1 visa you need to get a waiver.
