Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Hello,
I have a question that I'd like you to help me. My niece was used to be a international student but her visa expired for a while. Now she and her boyfriend want to marry so that they can live together in US.He is an American citizen. But I wonder if she can really marry him and stay in US since shes practically illegal now.

Yes, she can. If she is married to her US citizen boyfried, and he petitioned and sonsored her for permanent residency (green card).
