Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Hello!
My name is Elizabeth, I'm originally from Russia. I'm getting married soon and hope to apply for the green card, but - before that I've been married 2 times. First time 2 years ago to USA citizen, divorced in 2 months. Later I got married with a international student from Russia, got annulment after 9 moths of marriage. Both times I got married in San Diego and got divorced in Las Vegas. Both times I didn't file for any documents anywhere (I mean, Immigration service). Now everyone is telling me that the meeting with US SIC this time will be a nightmare because they will assume that my marriage is a fraud (which it is not) and gonna separate us and try to push my husband into confession or smth. Is it true? what can I do to minimize the "pressure"? will the authorities ask a lot about my previous marriages?

Yes, your new marriage and application for adjustment of status based on this marriage can be subjected to additional scrutily. Yes, the USCIS can inquire about your previous marriages.
