Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
can a immigration officer come in your home and arrest you
2 Answers from Attorneys
Yes, but they should have a document from Immigration & Customs Enforcement specifying this. You can contact an immigration lawyer for advice when they are there before you speak with them or just go with them. You should not turn over documents to them simply because they request it.
The above is general information, it is not legal advice and it does not form an attorney client relationship. For further information, feel free to contact me at [email protected] or call 818 609 1953.

Yes, if you are living in the United States illegally or out-of-status. Especially true, if there is an outstanding deportation order.
