Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
I am on a J-1 visa exempt from the 2 year return home rule. I filed for my green card with my wife, a US citizen, as my sponsor. I have completed my biometrics and am waiting for my interview. Can I quit the job that I have now? Or will this delay or affect my current application for my adjustment of status? I am also waiting for my EAD to be approved. Thank you.
